Getting Started

This guide will walk through the basics of registering and setting up your Pin/Out account.

Registration

Navigate to the registration page to create an account. You'll need to input your first and last name, and email.

Choose a secure password; it's required to have at least 8 characters, and we strongly recommend using a combination of capital and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Once everything's filled out, click Register to create your new account.

Registration Issues

If your account registration fails, it's likely due to one of the following reasons:

1. An account has already been created with the email you're using

This usually occurs if you've already created an account. Try logging in using the same email, and reset your password if you can't remember it.

2. Invalid / mismatched passwords

You may see an error message if your password is invalid, or if your Password and Confirm Password entries don't match. Make sure that your password is 8 or more characters long, and that you typed it correctly both times.

3. Other issues

If you can't pinpoint the cause of your registration error, contact Pin/Out support, or email [email protected]. Please include the error message in your email to ensure the fastest possible resolution.

Your First Club

Once your account is created, you'll be redirected to the Welcome page. Pin/Out welcome page

You have two options:

Join a Club

If another member of your hunting club has already created an account with Pin/Out, it's likely they've already created a club.

You can ask them to send you an invitation using the same email address you registered with. This is covered in the Inviting Members section of this guide.

Once they've sent you an invitation, refresh the page and click Join Club. You should see a list of clubs you've been invited to, like the one below. Pin/Out join club form

To join the club, just click the check mark and click Confirm. You'll be redirected to the club's home page with full member permissions.

Create a Club

If you're the first member of your hunting club to use Pin/Out, you'll need to create a club instead. To do this, select Create Club.

Enter your hunting club's name, zip code, and time zone. Zip code and time zone are used for retrieving your club's weather data and sunrise / sunset times.

Finally, click Create Club to submit the form and create your club. You should be redirected to Member Settings where you can invite other members of your club.

Save to Home Screen

For maximum convenience, you may want to save Pin/Out to your phone as an app. This process is fairly simple, but it's slightly different depending on the web browser you use. ar

Safari

To save Pin/Out to your home screen on Safari, follow these steps:

  1. Open the browser and navigate to app.pinout.online.
  2. Click the Share icon located at the bottom center of your screen. Safari share button Pin/Out

  5. You'll now be able to access Pin/Out from your home screen, along with the rest of your apps. Pin/Out on Apple home screen
